Customers upload one backup Server Move detects the software, rewrites ports and restores it auto!
Server Move Let your customers migrate their Minecraft server from any other host – in one upload. Moving a server from another host usually means a support ticket: unzip the backup, fix the folder structure, change ports, rename the jar, fix the startup variable… Server Move does all of that automatically, right inside the Pterodactyl panel. How it works • Upload – The customer uploads the backup archive (.zip, .tar.gz, .7z, …). The upload goes directly to Wings, so no PHP upload limits apply. • Review – The archive is extracted and analyzed. The customer sees the detected software, Minecraft version, server jar and a table of every config change (old → new) before anything is touched. • Restore – Optionally a safety backup of the current server is created. Then the server is stopped, wiped, the backup is restored and all configs are adjusted. Features • Automatic software detection: Paper, Purpur, Folia, Spigot, Fabric, Quilt, Forge, NeoForge, Mohist/Arclight, Velocity, BungeeCord/Waterfall, Bedrock • Port rewrite: server.properties (port, IP, query, RCON), velocity.toml, BungeeCord config.yml and Geyser – all mapped to the server's own allocations • Jar & startup fix: sets SERVER_JARFILE automatically, or renames the jar if the variable is locked • Nested archives: backups with a subfolder (e.g. backup.zip/MyServer/…) are detected, macOS junk files are ignored • Optional safety backup of the current server before the wipe • Warnings for things that need attention: wrong egg, missing allocation for Geyser/RCON, proxy backends still pointing to the old host, modern Forge without a server jar • Robust: long steps keep running in the background, even if the page is closed; an interrupted move resumes without wiping twice • Subuser permissions are respected (file, backup and power permissions) • Admin overview of recent moves incl. status and errors • Activity log entries for every move • Theme-friendly: built only with the panel's own components and colors Requirements • Pterodactyl Panel with Blueprint • Recommended: raise api.upload_limit in the Wings config (default is 100 MB) Installation Upload servermove.blueprint to your panel directory and run: Code:
